This painting was selected to be in the Artists of Texas Rites of Spring online show (http://www.artistsoftexas.org/shows/#/rites-of-spring/). I am thrilled to be included with such amazing artists from all over the world!
I created this painting from a photo I took last summer when my family and I went to Colorado Springs. We hiked several trails and on this particular one, I spotted these thistles. I know they can be a nuisance in a field, but I saw beyond that into the beauty of their creation. Hope you enjoy!
